Privacy Policy

When you create a vault, your email address is stored with Supabase Auth. Your password is stored by Supabase Auth as well. Lorebound does not keep the password in plain text.

Your public profile holds a gamer tag, a short bio, and an avatar image. We also store a two-letter country code. That code is not your location. It chooses the currency and store region for Where to Buy prices. If you skip the region question, we store that you skipped it so we do not ask again.

If you set a PC for compatibility estimates, we store the GPU, CPU, and memory size you picked from the Lorebound catalog.

• Your library: games you sync or add, including playtime and store details that come with them.
• Your wishlist.
• Reviews you write, and likes on reviews.
• Community posts, comments, and votes.
• Arcade points, Cover Guess scores, and cosmetics you unlock or equip.
• Esports matches you follow.
• Price alerts on wishlist games, including a target price and currency when you set one.
• In-app notifications, and whether you want a notice when someone replies to you in Community.

If you connect Steam, we store the Steam id, persona name, and avatar address Steam returns. If you connect Epic Games or Xbox, we store the account id, display name, and a refresh token so the library can sync again. These stay on your private profile and are removed when the account is deleted.

Lorebound does not take payments. To run the site we use:

• Supabase, for accounts and the database.
• Vercel, to host the site.
• IGDB, for game artwork, tags, summaries, and completion times.
• OpenCritic, for critic scores.
• Steam, Epic Games, and Xbox, when you connect a library or we show their store data.
• PandaScore, for esports fixtures.
• Frankfurter, for currency rates.

Lorebound keeps your Supabase sign-in session in the browser. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies.

If you choose to load an esports stream, that connects you to the stream host, such as YouTube or Twitch, which may set its own cookies and see your IP address. Nothing is requested from that host until you opt in.

We keep this data while your account exists.

You can delete the account from Settings → Account. That removes your library, wishlist, reviews, review likes, profile, avatar, country and PC details, store connections, price alerts, esports follows, notifications, and arcade points and scores. Your email and password go with the account.

Community posts and comments you wrote are not erased. They are marked deleted. The title shows as [deleted], the text is cleared, and your name comes off. Replies other people wrote stay in place. Deleted posts leave the feed. Opening the old address shows [deleted].
